12×12×1.5 inches Mixed Media on panel - Varnished with a UV matte finish and wired, ready to hang. Signed by the artist on the back. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

These small works are little experiments in color and curiosity, spaces where I play, explore, and let things unfold. They’re meant for the in-between places: a quiet shelf, a sunlit corner, above a doorway, or wherever you find yourself. Each one carries a spark of that same expressive energy, a reminder that art doesn’t have to be big to move you.

"Instead of being liked, you will be loved"
$5,760.00

48 × 60 × 1.5 inches

Mixed media on gallery profile canvas

The title of this piece was inspired by Brianna Wiest’s The Mountain Is You, in a passage on transformation—about letting go of what was built for who you once were, stepping beyond old comforts, and releasing what keeps you stagnant… so that you can be loved, truly seen, and deeply understood for who you are now.

This is one of my Tulip Series of 2025 ArtPrize pieces proudly exhibited at Periwinkle Fog, located in the bright and welcoming atrium of the Ledyard building in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am truly honored and thrilled to be counted among the select group of just 10 talented female artists featured in this inspiring collection.

"Iris-istable"
$2,595.00

36×36×1.5 inch Mixed Media on canvas

This piece was inspired by the delicate beauty of an iris flower and her stunning, vibrant color combination of rich violet and buttercream gold. Many of my works are faded memories with only the best cherry picked patterns intertwined to tell a new story. This piece also has fragments of songs hidden in the layers reminding us that we are the collection of all of our past experiences in life and we try to carry the best of them.

Shipping costs are additional with any work over 12×12 inches

"Everything is Temporary"
$1,725.00

36 × 24 × 1.5 inches

Mixed media on gallery profile canvas

“Everything is Temporary” is a reminder that every moment—whether joyful or painful—is fleeting. This piece is part of my Tulip Series, which explores growth and renewal. Like tulips that bloom brightly before returning to the earth, our lives are a cycle of beginnings and endings, each stage holding beauty. In Buddhism, there’s a saying: ‘This too shall pass.’ It reminds us to embrace change, to let go when the time comes, and to find peace in the impermanence of all things.

"Go Fly a Kite"
$4,600.00

48×48×1.5 Mixed Media on Canvas

Inspired by flying kites on the beach in Holland, Michigan, with my two children in the summer of 2025. I paint from memories that feel like a childlike collage—fragmented moments that coalesce through expressive marks and color. Only the best parts remain; they become, in a way, their own inner language of an experience.

This piece is an immersive collage of acrylic, pens, mark making and is finished with oils.

This piece will arrive in a tube or crate. Please contact me directly via email at evmullisart@gmail.com to arrange shipping or local pickup.

Photo of artist Erin Mullis who creates abstract works inspired by nature, resilience, and the beauty of imperfection

"My paintings are stitched together from fragments of memory—youthful summers on Northern Lake Michigan, sunsets on the beach, long road trips, my favorite flowers, old homes, old songs. They are cherry-picked memories from a time I can never return to, from a person I no longer am, and from a world my children will never know.

Even when I paint still life’s or landscapes through abstraction, I gather only the best pieces, the golden fragments, and bring them together. Perhaps that is why my paintings feel joyful—because they are built from the best parts of the best parts of living."
